Pelican Island National Wildlife Refuge Webcam
Sebastian is home to Pelican Island, America's 1st National Wildife Refuge. A webcam was recently installed so that people from all over the world can check out the natural habitat and beautiful wildlife at Pelican Island. The Pelican Island National Wildlife Refuge Webcam was paid for by the Sebastian River Area Chamber of Commerce which received funding from the Indian River County Chamber of Commerce Tourist Development Council. Pelican Island Preservation Society has graciously underwritten the monthly hosting and maintenance fees associated with the webcam. The webcam is located at the end of the Centennial Trail on the Observation Deck overlooking Pelican Island. The camera provides an overview shot of Pelican Island as well as a bird zoom and a video clip. The webcam can be viewed online at pelicanislandwebcam.com.
