The Sebastian River area is serviced by four airports, depending on where you are coming from. Orlando International Airport and West Palm Beach airport are only an hour and a half drive away, and the Melbourne International Airport is most conveniently located for a twenty minute drive to our area. Sebastian is also serviced by the City of Sebastian's municipal airport (772-581-0111) for private transportation.

If you are traveling by boat, the national Inter Coastal Waterway winds through our area and can be navigated through the Ft. Pierce inlet or the Cape Canaveral inlet. There are plenty of marinas and boat slips for an overnight stay. In fact Sebastian has a designated anchorage for a pleasant visit in our area!

Driving into the Sebastian area from the north, take I-95 south and exit on the Sebastian/Fellsmere exits, #156 (old # 69). Turn right on CR 512 to get to Fellsmere (about 3 miles west of the exit) and turn left to head towards Sebastian on CR 512 about 9 miles east of the exit. Specially note that the east/west roadway has several names, depending on where you are on the roadway. In Sebastian city limits it's called Sebastian Blvd., in the unincorporated areas it's known as 512 or Fellsmere Rd., nevertheless it's the main east/west corridor for the area. Driving in from the south on I95, take the same exit.

You can also approach the Sebastian River Area by car on Highway U.S. One from either the south through the Vero Beach area or the north from Brevard County. The drive from the Melbourne area on U.S. One is one of the most beautiful scenes on the east coast, bringing you along the Indian River lagoon. In fact this approach has been designated as a segment of the Florida Scenic Highway Program, due to the spectacular vistas of the lagoon and the historical significance of the highway. U.S. One brings you right into the heart of the City of Sebastian and all along the riverfront.

From the west coast of Florida, you can drive through the Fellsmere area via State Road 60 or take State Road 70 from the Florida turnpike up to the I95 interstate and exit 156.
