The Sebastian River Area is situated in the northern most part of Indian River County, lies between Vero Beach (the county seat) to the south and Melbourne to the north. It includes Sebastian (pop. 20,000), Fellsmere (pop. 5,000), Barefoot Bay, Micco, Grant, Orchid, Roseland, and Wabasso.
The Sebastian River area is experiencing unprecedented growth. The estimated population for those living in the Sebastian River Area is approximately 45,000. Population projections show the area doubling in size by the year 2020.
